This two seat runabout, which has a confirmed entry for the 2010 Brighton Run, has successfully completed the last two runs. The present owner acquired the car about three years ago since when his objective has been to make it fully operational for road use while at the same time conserving its amazing unrestored appearance. Of course anyone buying the car can restore it to whatever level they want to but we believe there are many collectors who will really appreciate this car's "barn find" condition as it is exactly what you would expect a car to look like which had been out of use for many decades.
Apart from thoroughly checking over the cars mechanical components the owner has uprated the brakes which anyone will tell you can be very useful in Brighton Run traffic and also improved the stability of the chain drive system! Both of these modifications are "bolt -on" and can easily be removed if you prefer absolute originality.
Apart from these minor mods which improve its driveability and safety, this is definitely a machine for the Veteran Car purist who eschews shiny restorations. |
