This lovely single cylinder VCC dated car has been in the same ownership from 1989. During the time he has owned the car it has been extensively restored and it shows in the good standard of finish and the way it drives!
The powerful air cooled 8 hp single cylinder engine delivers plenty of power once it has warmed up and in typical American style the car has a very easy to use two speed and reverse epicyclic gearbox so you don't have to worry about crunching gears, even more so because there is a lot of torque so once you are in top gear you can largely stay there!
The car has a well made tube chassis with a transverse spring at the front and full elliptic springs at the rear which give a very good ride. It carries correct two seat runabout bodywork which could no doubt be extended with the addition of a two seat rear entrance tonneau.
It is very smart, easy to drive and has completed several Brighton Runs "two up" without anyone have to get out and walk up the steep hills. As is typical with American cars it represents very good value for a Brighton runner.
